Moong Dal Pakodi is a pure rajasthani dish. Served hot in monsoons along with tea as evening snacks. Serve chutney or sauce alongwith it.

Yellow Gram Lentils - 1 cup
Onions - 2 large ( long chopped )
Green Chilli-Ginger Paste - 2 tspn
Cumin Seeds - 1 tspn
Chopped Cilantro - 1/4 Cup
Salt - To Taste
Oil - For Deep Frying
Soak moong dal for 1 hour,wash well and drain water.
Grind it coarsely in a mixer.
Add chopped onion, ginger-green chilli paste, cumin seeds, chopped curry and coriander leaves, salt and mix well.
Heat oil for deep frying and add 1 tspn amount of dal paste using hand or a spoon in hot oil, drop 8-10 pakodas and fry until golden brown in medium flame.
Don't overcrowd the pan.
Repeat same for rest of the mixture.
