Moru Kaachiyath(buttermilk Curry)

This is a naadan kerala curry usually used in sadhya towards the end of the meal.I got this receipe from my mother in law. she usually makes this curry with mango,kumbalanga(winter melon )and banana.I cooked and served it in our onasadhya.Now it is the most common and unavoidable curry for our lunch.This will not be spoiled for 5 days in our room temperature

Butter milk 2 cups
Coconut 1 cup
Garlic 2 slice
Turmeric powder As you need
Green chilly 3 nos
Pine apple 250 grams
Methi seeds 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Water 1cup
Small onion 2 nos
Curry leaves As you need
Cumin 1/2 teaspoon
Dried red chilly 3 nos
Salt as you need
Oil 4 teaspoon
Grind coconut,turmeric powder,cumin and garlic in the mixe to make it a paste
Put a terracotta pot with water on the stove and add sliced pineapple
Add sliced green chilly and salt
Allow it to boil for 15 mnts
Add coconut paste
Add buttermilk
Stir it well.keep in mind that the flame should be low,
Put a frying pan on the stove
When it is hot add oil
Add methi seeds allow it to spark
Add mustard seeds also
Add curry leaves and dried red chilly
Add sliced small onion
Pour this oil into cooked buttermilk
This can be prepared with banana or mango instead of pineapple
