Multigrain Homemade Chocoflakes

Kids love to eat choco flakes with or without milk, market bought flakes have no or very less nutritional content left in them. It's a little tideous to make this at home but very worth while.

1/4 cup little extra milk
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 pinches of baking soda
3-4 tablespoons Brown sugar
1/2 cup whole wheat flour/atta
1/4 cup amaranth flour/rajgira atta
2 tablespoons corn meal/makki ka atta
2 tablespoons rice flour/chawal ka atta
2 tablespoons powdered Oats
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2-4 teaspoons butter
Some oil for greasing and coating
Few drops of vanilla extract/ teaspoon of essence
In a pan heat milk, baking powder, baking soda and brown sugar until everything combined. Cool this to room temperature.
Once mixture cools add vanilla extract
Mix all flours in a bowl, add butter.
Mix milk mixture and make a dough without kneading it. Just bring everything together.
Add more milk if needed.
Make small balls. Give shape of flakes by pressing in centre. Keep the balls covered with kitchen towel.
Meantime for stove top oven setup; place a heavy bottom deep kadhai over gas stove, on medium flame. Place a stand inside it. Cover with a large lid. For otg; preheat it at 160°C
Place the prepared flakes on a round pizza plate or aluminum dish that sits inside the kadhai. Place in the setup and bake for 8-10 minutes on low gas flame. For oven; place flakes on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Replace same amount of wheat flour if you do not have any of the above mentioned flour
These can be stored in airtight,clean and dry container for a month or so.
