An Ancient Recipe From Punjab.
Medium sized Chicken-400gm
Green Cardamom-2-3 pieces
Onions Finely Chopped-2 pieces
For Paste -
Red Chilli powder-1/2 Tablespoon
Garam Masala-1/4 tablespoon
Salt - 1 tablespoon
Grind All the ingredients of paste to a very smooth paste in the mixer.
Heat Oil in a pan and add cardamom and chopped onions. Cook till the onions turn light brown.
Add the chicken pieces and yoghurt-cashew nut paste ,mix well and cook it for 8 minutes.
finally add 1/2 cup milk and 1 cup water.Sprinkle 3/4 tsp freshly crushed peppercorns.cook for 6 minutes.
Serve with Naan or chappati
Serve Hot with Parathas.
