Nutty And Veggi Tikia
Nutty and veggi tikia is a snack which can be served with evening tea. As the name suggest it is made up of nuts and vegetables and thus it is high in fibre and unsaturated fat.
Carrot 100 grams (4 ounce)
Green chilli 1-2 pieces (deseeded)
Ginger 1/2 tablespoon (minced)
Coriander leaves 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Mashed Boiled potaoes 100 grams (4 ounce)
Mashed Paneer (cottage cheese) 100 grams (4 ounce)
Cashew, Pistachios, Almond 20 grams (chopped)
Garam masala ½ tablespoon
Capsicum 1 piece (deseeded and chopped)
Salt 1/2 tablespoon
Refined oil 6 tablespoon
Chat masala 1/2 tablespoon
In a bowl take potatoes, paneer, carrot, capsicum, green chillies, salt and all nuts and mix them all together.
Apply some oil on your palm and then take small portions from this mixture and form tikkias.
In a pan or karahi put oil. Once the oil is heated fry the tikias on medium flame till they turn golden brown.
Place the tikkias on serving plate, garnish with chat masala and serve it with tamarind chutney and salad.
