Paneer Jamun

Paneer jamuns are cottage cheese and milk powder balls which are deep fried and dipped into sugar syrup.

Crumbled homemade Paneer – 1 Cup
All Purpose Flour – 1 tbsp
Milk Powder – 2 tbsp
Baking Powder – ¼ tsp
Oil – to deep fry
Sugar – 2 Cup
Green Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
In a bowl add paneer, all purpose flour, baking powder and milk powder. Knead it until you are able to form a smooth dough
Divide the dough into small equal portions and shape them into balls.
Make one thread sugar syrup by adding 1 ½ cups of water and green cardamom powder
Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the balls on low heat until they are golden in colour.
Drain and soak into the sugar syrup for 20-30 mins. Serve Hot.
