Paneer Tawa Masala

Paneer has always been the priority for vegetarian people.Its a good source of Calcium.This is a rich creamy gravy with paneer

Ingredients: 
For the Marination of Paneer:
1 cup of paneer cubes
1/2 cup of hung yogurt
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/4 tbsp of red chilli powder
1/4 tbsp of garam masala powder
A pinch of turmeric
Salt-according to taste
For the Gravy:
I cup Onions (Cubed and layered separately)
1/2 cup Green Capsicum ( Cubed)
1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
3/4th cup finely chopped onions
1 chopped green chilli
1/2 cup of tomato puree
1/4 tbsp ginger paste
1/4 tbsp garlic paste
1/4 tbsp red chilli powder
1/4 tbsp garam masala powder
1/4 tbsp kasuri methi
1/3 cup of Cashew Paste
Oil for cooking
Salt-according to taste
Water for Gravy
Directions: 
Marinate the paneer with yogurt,ginger paste,garlic paste,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,turmeric and salt.keep it aside for 30mins.
Heat 1 tbsp of Oil in a Tawa.Add only the paneer cubes from the gravy to the pan.
Toss the paneer pieces on high flame,continuously steering,till the marinade sticking to the paneer dries up.
Toss them for 3 to 4mins.The paneer will turn light brown.
Marinade for 10mins the diced onions and capsicum in the same marinade left and toss it also in the same pan for 2mins.
Heat oil in another pan,add some oil and add cumin seeds to it to crackle for 1min.
Add chopped onions and green chillies and saute till the onion turns soft.
Now add the ginger and garlic paste and cook till it gets cook properly.
Add the tomato puree followed by red chilli powder and fry the masala for 3 to 4 mins.
Add cashew paste at this level and mix well and saute it till it releases the cashew oil from side of the masala.
Add Salt as per taste.
Add fresh garam masala powder and kasuri methi
Add 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
Now add tossed paneer tikkas and cook on medium heat for 2mins.Do not overcook it or else paneer will become tough.
Now add tossed onions and capsicum to it.Cook for another one min.
Serve hot with green chillies and onions along with Tandoori Roti,Masala Kulcha or Rumali Roti.

Cream can be used too in the gravy for extra richness.
