Piyazi Bhindi (fried Ladies Finger With Onion)

Piyazi bhindi is a simple side dish recipe. It is one of the easiest to cook recipe with minimum ingredients and is good for the surprise guest or when you do not have much time in hand. It is a recipe specially liked by toddlers and young kids as it is not spicy and the combination of Bhindi with onions gives it a mildly sweet taste.

Bhindi (ladies finger) – 250 gram
Pyaz (onion) – 150 gram
Green chilli – 2 pieces (sliced)
Salt – 1 tablespoon
Black pepper powder – 1 /2 tablespoon
Oil – 4 tablespoon
Cut the bhindi in small pieces and keep aside. Slice the onons.
Heat oil in a karahi and fry the bhindi till it turns light brown.
Add the sliced onion, green chilli and salt and cook it on medium heat for 2-3 mintues.
Sprinkle the black pepper powder and mix well. Serve hot with dal, chawal or chappati.
