#powerbreakfast Dalia Pulao
A lovely kick start to the day with carbs and proteins and veggies and which will keep you energized for half a day at least !!!
Mota dalia ( broken wheat) 1 bowl
Oats - 1/2 bowl
Onion - 1 chopped
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Green chillies – 2 (Chopped finely)
Salt – to taste
Oil – 4 tablespoon
Coriander leave 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Mixed Vegetables - 1/2 bowl
Heat 1 teaspn oil in a cooker. add dalia and roast for 3-4 minutes. add oats. add 2 katori water and close the lid and cook for 2 whistles. let it cool
In another pan take the remaining oil and heat. add mustard seeds and let it crackle. Add green chillies and onion. saute till soft. add all vegetables, salt and cover cook till soft.
when the vegetables are cooked, add the cooked oats dalia and salt to taste in it and mix well.... garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon.
