Raseeli Bhindi (okra/tangy Ladies Finger)
A tangy Dish for main courses. Okra is very low calorie vegetables. It is rich in fiber which helps in the prevention of diabetes disease.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
Garam masala-1/4 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tablespoon
Chilli powder- 1/4 tablespoon
Oil - 4 Tablespoon
Chop the ladies finger into pieces and keep aside.
Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and fry the ladies fingers till they turn light crispy. Take out in a plate.
Add the remaining oil and put chopped onions, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix evenly.
Cook it for few minuted until the okra become soft and cooked.
Add the tomatoes into it and cook it until the tomatoes gets soften and turns soupy.
Add the fried ladies finger into it and cook for 5 mins. Finally add some grama masala and mix.
Cook it covered for 2 mins. Your dish will be ready to be served.
serve hot with tandoori Chapati or rice.
