Ravyache Ladoo. (suji Ke Ladu)

It is an indian sweet prepared on festivals, especially Diwali.

2 Full cups of Semolina (rava)
1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
1 cup grated coconut
7-8 cardomom
cashewnuts sliced (quantity as per your choice)
About 25 gms Raisins (kishmish)
2 tsp ghee
Take ghee in a pan and roast suji well till it turns golden brown. Add grated coconut to it and again roast for a while.
In a big thick bottomed pan, take 1and 1/2 cups of sugar and add 1/2 cup water to it. Keep stirring this mixture till it becomes a semi-thick sugar syrup. After the syrup is ready, add roasted semolina to it and mix it well. Add sliced cashewnuts, raisins and cardamom powder to it and keep mixing. Set this mixture aside for a while.
After the mixture is cooled down, make small round balls and place a raisin or cashewnut on top.
