Semolina Ladoo (rava-milk Ladoo)

Semolina ladoo does not need any introduction. This is a sweet dish that is commonly prepared during festive seasons. This is one of the easiest dessert can be prepared in very less time at home.

Semolina (Rava)- 1 cup
Sugar- 1/4 cup
Milk- 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts- 10
Ghee- 4 tbsp
Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a heavy bottom pan and fry the cashew nuts in ghee
When the cashew nuts turn golden brown in colour, transfer to another plate and keep it aside
Add the semolina to the remaining ghee and roast it until the semolina turns light brown in color
When the semolina turns light brown colour, add sugar to it and stir well
Add milk and 1 tbsp of ghee to it and stir well till the milk is absorbed
Finally, add the roasted cashew nuts to this and mix well
Allow it to cool slightly and shape into balls
Please note that the semolina does not get over heated while roasting
