Sooji Upma is most easiest and quick recipe. It is normally served for breakfast but can be eaten at anytime. The main ingredient is Sooji but you can add any vegetable of your choice to enhance the taste of this recipe.

Sooji (Semolina) 2Cup
Onion 1 Large chopped
Green Capsicum 1/2cup chopped
Carrot 1/2cup chopped
Mustard Seeds 1/2tsp
turmeric powder 1 Pinch
Ginger chopped 1/2tsp
Oil 3tsp
Salt to taste
Water 1 1/2 Cup
Heat Kadai and add Semolina. Fry it without oil till it turns light brown. Take it out on a plate and keep aside.
Now heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, let it splutter.
Put chopped ginger and chopped onion and fry till it becomes translucent.
Add chopped capsicum, chopped carrot, salt , turmeric powder, Stir and fry till vegetables are half cooked.
Add 1 and 1/2 cup water. After one boil comes, add fried Semolina and stir continuously.
Cook till all water is absorbed, Cover the lid and remove from the flame.
Now it is ready to be served.
