Shahi Paneer

Its a very easy recipe. I have tried it when I was pregnant of three months. That time I could not eat any fish or chicken so I have tried this recipe. Now my 5 years old boy also like it. My husband appreciate always whenever I try something new. This is one of his favourite one. I used to prefer to serve this preparation with Roti or Paratha. It goes well with Fried rice.

Ingredients: 
Paneer - 200 gm
Onion - 2 medium size
Garlic - 8 - 9 cloves
Ginger - 1 inch
Tomato - 1 medium
Kaju paste - 2 teaspoon
Salt - as per taste
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri mirch powder - 1 teaspoon
Green chilli - 3 - 4 nos.
Milk - 1/2 cup
Garam masala - one pinch
Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoon
Directions: 
Cut the paneer into medium cubes and fry in with a little salt in a kadai in vegetable oil. Do not overfry the paneer. After it will have a light golden colour remove it from the kadai.
Then make a paste of onion,ginger,garlic, green chilli and tomato in the grinder.
Then in the kadai take some oil and pour the onion - ginger-garlic paste. fry it for 2 - 3 minutes in medium flame.
Then add the red kashmiri mirch powder, salt and cook for another 5 minutes by covering the kadai. when the oil separates mix the kaju paste and milk .
After 2-3 minutes add garam masala powder with paneer. after 2 minutes remove the kadai from the gas stove.
Footnotes: 
You can add a little butter on the preparation as per taste. It will taste best with Roti and Paratha. Try it and let me know your reaction.
