Shakkar Para (fried Sweet Snack)
Whole wheat flour - 1 ½ cups
Oil – 2 tbsp for dough
Oil – to deep fry
Warm Milk – for making dough
Sugar – ¼ Cup
Green Cardamom Powder – 1/5 tsp
Take warm milk and add sugar, green cardamom powder and stir well till sugar get dissolves.
Take a large bowl, add whole wheat flour. 2 tbsp oil. Rub well with your hands so that it will get coarse texture. Now add milk slowly and make a stiff dough.
Divide the dough in two equal portions. Now take one portion and flatten it. Roll it with the help of a rolling pin.
Cut into desired shape and deep fry them until golden brown and crisp. Do same with the rest dough.
Drain on an absorbent paper.
You can store them into airtight container once they completely cooled down.
