Sindhi Koki ( Sindhi Flatbread )
1 Cup, Whole Wheat Flour
2 tbsp, Gram Flour (Roasted)
2 tbsp, finely chopped Coriander leaves
½ tsp, Cumin seeds
1 tsp, Carom seeds
1 tbsp, Ghee for dough
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
Turmeric Powder – a pinch (optional)
Salt to taste
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients ( Except Ghee) and mix well.
Add sufficient water and make a stiff dough. Cover it and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal portions and shape one portion into ball and gently roll it like semi thick chapatti by dusting some wheat flour.
Heat non-sticky tawa. Add a drop of ghee and place rolled koki on the tawa and cook it until golden from both sides. Apply more ghee, if required.
Serve hot with pickle/yogurt/dal/sabji or chai
