Special Chicken Biryani
A well known Indian Recipe.
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
Curd - 1 cup
Garam masala powder 1/2 tablespoon
Coriander Powder - 2 tablespoon
Dry fenugreel leaves - few
Mint Leaves - few
Salt - To taste
Ghee - 8 tablespoon
Cinnamon bark -1 inch peice
Cardamom - 1.2 tablespoon
Fenugreek 1/4 teaspoon
Bay leaf - 2
Biryani powder - 1 sachet
Take a cooker heat 8tsp of ghee.
Add whole spices like bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and fenugreek seeds and let them brown.
Afterwards add chopped sambar onion and fry till it becomes transparent.
Then add chopped coriander, fenugreek leaf, pudina leaf and fry for few seconds. Add ginger -garlic paste and 6-8 green chilly paste.
Add a cup of tomato puree and a cup of curd. Fry for a while.
Add 2-3sp of garam masala powder and biryani masala and mix.
Finaly add the chicken and fry all for 5 mintues. Add water,let it boil. .
Add basmati rice, lemon juice and salt. Allow it to boil.Then close the lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot biryani with onion and lemon.
Use ghee and sambar onion for better taste.
