Special Sunday Chicken Curry

Shweta Rai's Secret Indian Recipe !

Chicken - 500 gms (Cleaned)
Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp + 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp + 1/2 Tsp
MTR Chicken Tandoori Masala - 4 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp
Onions - 3 Sliced
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 3
Pepper - 1/2 Tsp
Curd - 5 Tbsp
Bay leaf -1
Water - 1/2 Cup
Oil - 5 Tbsp
Salt to Taste
In a bowl, mix curd, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp salt mix well
Add the cleaned chicken pieces to this marinade and let it marinate for 2 hrs in fridge
After marinating, heat oil in kadhai or pressure cooker
Add All khada masalas
Once they start to splutter add onions, 1/2 tsp salt and sauté
Cover and cook on med heat for 10 mins till onions turn nice and soft
Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric and red chilli powder and mix. Add Chicken tandoori masla and water
Add the marinated chicken with the marinade
Mix well. Cover and cook for 30 mins on med heat or pressure cook up to 3 whistles (cooking time may vary depending on the quality of chicken)
When chicken is cooked, remove in a bowl and serve hot with rotis or rice
Garnish with coriander leaves
