Very delicious Indian sweet which is easy and quick to make at home.
Semolina Sweet roll | Suji Sweet Rolls.
SUJI - 1 CUP
POWDER SUGAR - 3/4 CUP
MILK - 1.5 CUP
COCONUT POWDER - 1/2 CUP
CARDAMOM - 4 POWDER
GHEE - 1 TSP
Take semolina into pan. Keep the flame slow. Roast semolina till semolina became light golden.So that raw taste of semolina go out. After roasted semolina add milk and mix well. After semolina dough became thick off the flame. Close the lid and put for 2 minutes. Take out semolina dough into a plate for cool down . Put slightly hot dough and greece your hands with ghee and knead dough for 2 minutes. We need smooth dough. After became smooth dough add powder sugar in it. After dough become cool add powder sugar because if the dough is hot sugar will melt and dough will become soft. We need tight dough for make roll. Knead dough for 2 minutes so that dough become soft . After knead dough add coco nut powder and cardamom powder in it. M ix well. Adding coconut in it . It give s rich taste. YOu can use dry fruit powder too. For making dough take big lemon size of dough and make roll. Give cylindrical shape of it. Put it into a plate. Prepare left over rolls same way. Now we steamer rolls For steamer take mash greece with ghee and put all rolls in it. Take steamer and add 1 glass of water in it. Put hot stand in it. Put steamer for heat. When water is boiling put steamer plate in it. Close the lid and steamer for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes check it. You can see rolls became soft and shinning too. Rolls are ready. Off the gas. Put rolls for cool down. After cool down roll coat with dry coconut powder. suji rolls are ready to serve......
