Sweet Coconut Barfi(narkoler Tokti)

Coconut sweet has been a delicious dish among the Bengalis. It is a well known grandma's recipe which has been modified in shape only.

Coconut grated- 1 big
Sugar- 200g
Milk/Condensed Milk- 5tablesp
Cardamom(Ilaichi) powder- 1/2tsp
Ghee- 1tablesp
In a kadai, heat the ghee and add the grated coconut, sugar and condensed milk and mix well.
When the mixture in kadai is dried up, remove it from the oven.
In a metal plate,grease the surface well with ghee and pour the mixture and press it well to make it uniformly leveled.
Then cut the mixture in Barfi shaped pieces and keep in fridge and serve cool.
Mixture should be made little dry while cooking but not very much.
Should preserve the white color of coconut.
