Sweet Mango Sambhar

Extremely yummy and tasty..real finger licking taste from the king of fruits...

1cup Tur dal ( Split Pigeon pea)
1cup chopped Ripe Mango
1tsp chillI powder
A pinch Turmeric
2pinch Asafoetida
1tsp Coriander powder
Few Mustard Seeds
1cup chopped Onions
A pinch Fenugreek
Salt to taste
3tsp Oil
In a pan pour oil and splutter mustard and fenugreek. Then add onions and fry till golden. Keep aside.
Pressure cook tur dal and mangoes with salt.
Pour the mango dal mix to the seasoning of mustard and onions and cook by adding all masala powders for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or chappatis.
For garnishing you may add coriander leaves or mint leaves.
