1 Cup Mango Pulp (fresh or canned)
1.5 Cup Hot water
3 Tbsp Ghee
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Cardamom Powder (Optional)
Directions:
Dry roast the rawa if you are using unroasted rawa. If using roasted rawa, skip this step
Add 2 tbsp ghee to the pan, when hot, add rawa and roast again on low flame for 1 to 2mins
Add hot water and stir quickly to avoid lump formation. Cook until the water is completely absorbed by the rawa
Once water has been completely absorbed, add sugar and mix well. Add pinch of salt (adding sat enhances the flavour, but this is an optional ingredient)
Once the sugar is mixed well and completely dissolved, add the mango pulp and mix well. Let all ingredients come together well. When the sheera thickens, add 1 tbsp ghee on top and mix.
If you like the flavour of cardamon you may add pinch of cardamom powder (elaichi powder) too
Your mango sheers is ready!! Enjoy hot or cold.
