Dhakai Mangsho (dhaka Style Mutton)

Dhakai mangsho is a nonvegetarian side dish recipe typically cooked in Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh). It is a very simple recipe of mutton but the secret agent that differs it from normal mutton recipe is the addition of sugar.

Ingredients: 
Mutton pieces 250 grams (9 ounce)
Onion paste 20 grams (0.5 ounce)
Green Chilli 6 pieces
Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
Ginger- garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Turmeric powder ½ tablespoon
Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon
Mustard oil 100 mililitre
Salt 1 tablespoon
Sugar 1tablespoon
Directions: 
Heat mustard oil in a karahi and add onion paste and ginger garlic paste. Fry till they become light brown.
Add green chillies, cumin powder and turmeric powder and fry for 10 mintues.
Add mutton and salt and cook for 30 mintues or upto 5 whistles. Add garam masala and serve hot with rice.
