Ingredients: 
Aloo ( potato) - 4 pieces
Kumro ( red pumpkin0 - 300 grams
Hing ( asafoetida0 - 1/4 tablespoon
Whole red chilli - 2 piece
Panchphoren - 1/2 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 tablespoon
Sugar - 1/2 tablespoon
Mustard oil - 4 tablespoon
Directions: 
Cut aloo and kumro in thick slices and keep aside.
Heat oil in a karahi and add panchphoren, hing and whole red chilli. Let it crackle and then add potatoes.
Fry the potatoes till they become light brown.
Then add kumro, turmeric powder and salt and mix. Put a lid on and cook on low heat till the kumro and potatoes are done.
Finally add the sugar and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve with dal and rice.
Footnotes: 
Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder to enhance the taste.
