Dahi Aloo Bonda (healthy Chaat Recipe)
My inspiration of this unique recipe is our very own ' Dahi Bhalle'. This recipe is quite simple and does not require you to soak any lentil and then grind them. You just need boiled potatoes, curd and some spices and you can prepare this wonderful healthy chaat.

Cooking Time:

Complexity:
Very Easy
Ingredients:
Home made curd - 1 cup
Potato - 4 medium sized (Boiled)
Chopped Green Coriander - 2 tablespoon
Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon
Red chili Powder - 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Cornflour - 4-5 tablespoon
Oil - 4 tablespoon
Sugar and salt to taste for curd.
Coriander Chutney and Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoon each
Directions:
Peel and mash the potatoes with a potato masher or a spoon.
Add chooped coriander leaves, half tablespoon of Cumin powder, half tablespoon of Red chili powder and the whole of Garam masala powder. Add salt to taste and 2 tablespoon of cornflour.
Mix all together well. Now divide the mixture into equal sized balls.
To avoid breakage while frying, coat them with cornflour.
Heat a non stick tawa on medium flame and place the Potato balls. Sprinkle oil from all sides and cook them till upper surface turns golden brown. Take them out on a plate and keep aside.
Before serving beat the curd along with remaining cumin and red chili powder. Add salt and sugar to taste.
For plating keep two aloo bondas on a plate. Pour some processed curd and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves. Finally pour some coriander chutney and tomato ketchup and serve.
Footnotes:
You can powder whole cumin and red chili powder after roasting them slightly.
