Chana Chaat (kolkata Street Food Special)
This spicystreet food is quite popular in kolkata. The tangy and spicy bengal gram sprouts are mixed with few vegetables.

Ingredients:
Bengal gram - 1 cup
Dried pea - 1/4 cup ( soaked overnight and boiled)
Cucumber - 1 piece
Tomato - 1 piece
Green chilli - 2 pieces
Green coriander leaves - 1/4 cup ( chopped)
Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Roasted red chilli powder - 1/4 tablespoon
Rock salt - 1/4 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Directions:
Wash and soak the bengal gram in water for overnight a day before and then hang it on previous night in a muslin cloth to make sprouts.
Chop all the vegetables in small pieces and keep aside.
Take a large bowl and put the sprouted Bengal gram. Add boiled dried pea, chopped cucumber, tomato, green chilli, green coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, chilli powder , rock salt and lemon juice.
Mix well and serve immediately

You can add a tablespoon of tamarind juice to enhance the taste
