Channa Dal (split Bengal Gram)papaya Curry
Channa dal is a common ingredient used to make lentils and vegetable curries in Odisha. Here is one recipe where I have used channa dal along with raw papaya. It tastes best with steamed rice. I consider this as comfort food and I serve it with simple steamed rice and fried papad.
