All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 1 Cup
Semolina (Sooji) – 2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Kasoori Methi – 2 tbsp
Carom Seeds (Ajwain) – ½ tsp (Crushed)
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Oil – to deep fry
Take a large bowl, add maida, sooji, salt, kasoori methi, ajwain and ghee. Rub well with your hands for 2 minutes. Now make a stiff dough by adding water. Cover it and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Divide the dough in two equal portions. Now take one portion and flatten it. Roll it with the help of a rolling pin.
Cut into desired shape and deep fry them until golden brown and crisp. Do same with the rest dough.
Drain on an absorbent paper.
You can store them into airtight container once they completely cool down.
