Kache Kele Ki Sabzi( Raw Banana/ Plantain Curry)

Ingredients:
1. Raw Banana - 3
2. Medium Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
3. Small Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
4. Ginger garlic paste – 1 Tsp
5. Coriander Leaves – Few (chopped)
6. Cumin Seeds – ½ Tsp
7. Chilli powder – ½ Tsp + ¼ Tsp
8. Turmeric powder – 1/8 Tsp + 1/8 Tsp
9. Coriander powder – 1 Tsp
10. Saunf power – 1/8 Tsp
11. Cumin powder – 1/8 Tsp
12. Chaat masala – 1/8 Tsp
13. Amchoor powder – 1/8 Tsp
14. Asafoetida – 1 pinch
15. Jaggery – 1 Tbsp (grated)
16. Salt – to taste
17. Cooking Oil – 4 Tsp + 2 Tsp
18. Green chilly – 1 pc (finely chopped)
Directions:
1. Peel and chop all the bananas in round pieces.
2. Take a bowl and marinate banana pieces with ginger - garlic paste, salt, 1/8 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp chilli powder, saunf powder, cumin powder, amchoor powder and Chaat Masala.
3. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
4. Add 4 tsp oil in a non stick pan and place the marinated banana pieces one by one in the oil on medium heat.
5. Flip all the pieces once they start turning golden brown.
6. Once all the pieces are golden brown in color from both sides,take them out in the same bowl in which the marination was done so that the leftover marination can be used .
7. Parallely heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add cumin and heeng/ asafoetida to it.
8. Once cumin start to crackle, add onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
9. Add tomato, green chillies and salt, keeping in mind that salt is there in Banana pieces too.
10. Cook till tomatoes are mashed and become soft.
11. Add 1/4 tsp chilli powder, 1/8 tsp turmeric powder and dhania powder and cook for a minute.
12. Transfer all banana pieces along with the left over marination to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame.
13. Add jaggery and cook for another 1 minute.
14. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
